As a result, number of umbrellas one must purchase, and later on dispose off, thus contaminating the environment, declines exponentially. This hugely reduces plastic and metal discard and individual carbon footprints.

  Only recycled aluminium and steel are used for making the internal support structure of our umbrellas. Not only does this reduce the need for more metal, but also helps cut down humongously on the energy spent on processing the metals, as the materials are already half-processed. Steel and aluminium are procured from scrap dealers, landfill-operators and local ‘kabadiwalas’ directly. We also promote collection of aluminium and steel based dry waste, including cans, foils, utensils, sinks, bike frames, furniture, car rims, etc in various institutions and directly use their inputs. These will be ‘upcycled’ in our industries to ascertain the impeccability of the final quality.
