“We humans did not weave the web of life–we are merely a strand of it. Whatever to do the the web, we do to ourselves.”

Hola Creations recognises that the future is either green, or not at all. We, as an human endeavour, owe it to the common future of our kind, that we, by setting example, make environmental thought an intertwined, inseparable part of thought, and a way of life. We want to show that economic and technological prowess, and environmentally conscious actions aren’t mutually exclusive, and will in fact lead to each other’s advancements. So, we have embedded the evergreen aphorism of Three R’s, ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ in every face of our business idea.

  • Reduce

Hoverellas have very high durability, are expected to work immaculately for at least 5 years, unlike most umbrellas that do not last for more than one or two seasons. As a result, number of umbrellas one must purchase, and later on dispose off, thus contaminating the environment, declines exponentially. This hugely reduces plastic and metal discard and individual carbon footprints.
Moreover, because of the tremendous convenience that the umbrellas add to walking by foot, many persons may switch from commuting short distances in vehicles, to this mode. The amount of fuel that could be conserved by this lifestyle alteration, in the long run, is but astronomical.

  • Reuse

Hoverellas make it possible for rainwater to be stored in their shaft. This way, users can effortlessly gain 1.5 litres of clean water whenever they go out in the rain, which they may use upon return for a spate of purposes such as watering plants or rinsing objects. This seemingly meagre amount, once multiplied by the hundreds of thousands of people using our products, multiple times a week, is a boon to the environment, and demonstrably, one gigantic.

  • Recycle

Only recycled aluminium and steel are used for making the internal support structure of our umbrellas. Not only does this reduce the need for more metal, but also helps cut down humongously on the energy spent on processing the metals, as the materials are already half-processed. Steel and aluminium are procured from scrap dealers, landfill-operators and local ‘kabadiwalas’ directly. We also promote collection of aluminium and steel based dry waste, including cans, foils, utensils, sinks, bike frames, furniture, car rims, etc in various institutions and directly use their inputs. These will be ‘upcycled’ in our industries to ascertain the impeccability of the final quality.
