The Poem About Itself (patent pending) -------------------------------------- This is a poem, about itself. It's not about a house, or a car or a shelf. For it to be long, there should be a lot to write about. This seems to be making a loop, I'm starting to have some doubt. Will anybody like it, or will it be a waste? I really don't want to write, in too much of a haste. By writing this poem, am I breaking the fourth wall? Will I be forever imprisoned, in the bad writers' hall? I don't think the poem needs an Easter egg, but you can never be too sure, Should it really be just a poem, or be hiding something more? This poem's got a decent length, I think I will stop. Writing a poem about itself, is something I hope nobody can top. Just kidding! That was a joke stanza, there's still stuff left in the lore, in the poem that was about itself, get ready to withstand more! So pranking the reader, a mission now complete! Should I teach this poem now, to use Facebook, or to Tweet? I'm running out of space on the page, which has ruined half the fun. So now I think what I should say is, "I hereby declare this poem done."
